I had said in an earlier post that the repos from the '80 / '90s era Marx Toys company were molded in different colors than the originals. This silver tank does look an awful lot like the original Marx but there is a noticeable difference that is sometimes hard to notice unless you have the two pieces up close and personal: the original Marx tank is a more muted gray-silver color than the brighter silver repo.
