We're starting another small series of figures today. Some years back I picked up a couple sets of hand painted figures that the seller claimed were made by 'Mars'. At the time I hadn't even heard of Mars figures unless they were aliens! I did like the figures I had bought but I'm afraid since then I have learned almost absolutely nothing about Mars except that they are sold as unpainted 54mm (1/32 scale) boxed figures. To-date I have yet to buy a boxed set because they tend to get expensive - around $30 - $36/box! Ouch. All that said, my figures are not 54mm, they are 50mm. The sculpting is very well done but, after comparing my figures with photos of those for sale on fleaBay, my poses don't match up to anything I see being offered by Mars. Apparently they didn't offer very many sets as I see the same ones being offered over-&-over again. Anywho - if anyone out there knows for sure who made these, let me know - that would be appreciated.
