Here's the second of three "Knights of the 100 Years War" sets produced by Forces of Valor (Unimax Toys Ltd.) back in 2006. This figure is a mounted knight with helmet and lance. I wish I had the time to research this warriors armor more in depth but as it stands, I'll just have to accept it on face value that this is representative of the conflict which ran from 1337-1453.
Although FOV makes excellent figures and accessories, the bases meant to hold the figures in place don't always work well. For example, the right front hoof of the horse is supposed to fit onto the wooden spike rising from the base but it just did not want to fit and stay put. That being said, a small dolop of glue and a day or so of waiting for it to set up and we're able to bring you the photos seen here today. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
