speaking of toy vehicles i wanted to leave a comment under your 1989 Batmobile posting. i used to have it and even though i liked that version of The Batmobile i always hated how Ertl had a painted bat symbol on it's roof i never understood why they felt the need for that.
yeah, I've said it before, toy companies do odd things and they'll end up doing whatever they want for whatever oiddball reasons they have. Sometimes you want to be a fly on the wall when they discuss their toys and development meetings just to see what drugs they're on, oops, I mean where their minds are at when they do weird things like that
