Ed's Travelogue Today: Boulder City Co Store, Boulder City, Nevada and 1929 DeSoto Six

Yesterday I posted our lilttle side trip up to Boulder City and Heneway park where we saw a whole herd of Bighorn Sheep. But what led us to go there was when we stopped in one our regular haunts: The Boulder City Co Store. The cashier there put us on to the park but was also kind enough to show us this cool 1929 DeSoto Six. We had seen it before of course, having been in the store plenty of times, but he was the first to offer to lift the hood so that I could get some shots of the engine. and he also pointed out the hand-cranked windshield wiper - and the bullet hole in the windshield - DOH! Next time we go there I need to take some more shots as a couple of mine turned out blurry :-) Enjoy! Opa Fritz

The poster may not be an exact match for this model but it was the closest I could find

Hmmm - bullet hole in the windshield: Prohibition Era adventure perhaps???
