MPC LARGE Prairie Schooner

You may recall this wagon we posted just a few weeks ago on 25 Feb. Since then another large wagon variation has rolled into the 'ol homestead...

...the LARGE Prairie Schooner

(For comparison purposes here's the smaller, more common, version of the Prairie Schooner)

Obviously, the biggest difference is the longer length of the wagon bed (or box) and the script on the cover. This sample also gave me an opportunity to photograph the hitch arrangement. The hitch is comprised of two common one-horse hitches with a joiner bar which connects the two into one cohesive unit. On my sample that joiner bar is loose as all heck and explains why, in other wagons I have, it's glued into place! My sample has both barrels in place on either side of the wagon, as well as a pick-axe and rifle in place on each side of the tool box. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
