I call this one 'The Hunter's Cabin' because of the bear skin hanging next to the door. The method of construction is odd for any Western building because of it's modular nature. Each wall section consists of 3-5 logs. Those pieces with 5 logs are usually the bottom portions of the cabin, topped by 3-log pieces. I didn't notice until after the cabins were assembled and photographed that there is a definite 'top' and 'bottom' to each piece evidenced by the shadow underneath each log. Each cabin exhibits a gap between the top wall piece and the roof piece. The cabins measure 7" (17.78cm) W x 5" (12.7cm) D x 4.5" (11.43cm) H to top of roof 5" (12.7cm) H to top of chimney. Enjoy! The top wall piece in this photo is upside down. The shadows should be under the logs not on top.
