Made in 1978, these Tim-Mee Toys Galaxy Laser Team (GLT) figures were directly influenced by popular sci-fi of the era - specifically Star Wars - and you can see references to SW in these poses. First up is a Darth Vader-ish looking character replete with helmet, cape, and Billy-club - errr, I mean light saber! The GLT figure has a shorter cape, different style helmet, and while he is the tallest figure in the group at 57mm, he is still not as tall as Darth Vader would be. BTW I am soooo glad my specimen did not come in that awful nauseous green or pink! Enjoy! Opa Fritz
