REMCO did one heckuva job taking 20 toys and mixing and matching them into multiple sets. Note that I do not have any original boxed sets in my collection. The photos you see here were culled from fleaBay, Hake's auction site (from sales dating back to 2011), and other Internet sites. As most people don't photograph their toys in the same way I do (like taking clear photos of all sides of a box or packaging), set numbers may be missing. While I've compiled the most complete rundown that I can, no doubt I'm missing a few. Also, REMCO did an odd thing when cataloging their sets. Instead of referring to them as "Set No. ..." or "Item No. ..." they called them "Style's" Our first set shown below is a good example: it's referred to as "Style #460".
Here goes - Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Fabulous post Ed! Such a cool range and an icon of the 60's! I had the grenade pistol as a nipper but it called Monkey Division I think. What a post!
ReplyDeleteMany Thanx Woodsy! For the past couple of years, I've been trying to get a handle on the sets Remco offered and have managed to cull all this from the Internet, but I'm fairly certain there's more sets yet to be discovered.
DeleteOne of the classics toy series of our youth. I think the tagline "Monster Science Fiction" says it all! SF Ziggurat
ReplyDeleteYou got that right Zigg! For a series of toys which supposedly didn't sell well, I'm amazed at just how many people remember them and had them in their youth! Me personally, I didn't have the complete set but did have a couple of smaller sets and they were super!
