You can't have a military playset without a Jeep - I think there's a law that states that! The earliest Training Center playsets came with armored cars and halftracks, but Jeeps, tanks, and other vehicles would soon follow. This measures: 5" (12.7cm) L x 2.75" (6.98cm) W x 1.875" (4.76cm) H.

This is interesting Ed, it looks like it's the basis for all those miniature ones by Pyro-Kleeware-Lido-Merit? Those sharp 45° angles either side of the windscreen/windshield? Although they all had a central spare-tyre with no jerry-can. It's also almost a better attempt at a Willy's than the more common one from the later playsets, also reproduced in Miniature Masterpiece sets.

Thanx Hugh! It is an interesting design and I wonder why Marx put that funny angle to the hood. But it is what it is.
