I have a plan to re-do my Flintstones setup sometime probably next year - maybe even later this year - and the few extra pieces I've accumulated over the years will come in handy for that. I have two extra Fred's Houses, both of which are a light gray. I know the animator's referred to this as Barney's House but Marx labeled it as Fred's so that's what I'm sticking with.

Both of my extras were purchased before I obtained the boxed set and were used on my setup back in 2011. As a general rule, Marx made the Flintstones buildings in light gray, dark gray, light caramel brown, and a darker brown. If you see any of the Flintstones buildings in a very light gray - almost white - with dark speckles in it, those are the later ReMarx (aka New Marx, Marx Toys, Marx of Miami) re-issues from the Ruby Edition playset of the '90s. In addition, many times the buildings are 'marbled' due to Marx reusing plastic when making the pieces. No color is considered 'rare'.
