Play Along Toys AOME LOTR - Ambush At Weathertop Collection Set #48510 (2003) - Pt 1 Box and Contents

I first started posting Play Along Toys Armies of Middle Earth Lord of The Rings toys back when the blog started in 2010. There was a pretty good run of posts, but then - as usual - I got distracted and moved on to other things. Another round of posts hit in 2016 and then...

...yup, moved on to other things.

Both rounds of posts were totally missing several series of figures, some of which were: Heroes & Villains of Middle-earth, Collections, Weapons and Warriors, Battle Scenes, Deluxe Battle Scenes, and the one-&-only Super Deluxe Battle Scene. I hope to remedy that disparity this time around. AND, perhaps I can cobble together a 3D scene or two while I'm at it.

This collection centers around the action taking place at Amon Sûl - aka Weathertop. All of the figures (except for Aragorn) - were included in other figure sets by Play Along and were also featured here at one time or another. This time though, the set deserves a place in the sun by giving it it's own round of posts.
