This wagon was on the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus after the
Sells-Floto Circus was closed following the 1932 season. When the
Hagenbeck-Wallace show went belly up in California in 1938, Louis Goebel and
the Studios got almost all of the wagons. By renting wagons to studios, Goebel
saved many of these wagons and eventually donated them to the Circus World
Museum. Millions of dollars was spent by the Jos. Schlitz Brewing co. to
transport these wagons from California to Baraboo and then restore them.
