We are starting yet another small vintage spaceman series! It's so cool how, when surfing fleaBay, you come across things that pique your interest. You buy them perhaps not knowing exactly what they are or who made them, only to be surprised later when new information comes your way. I bought this set of figures last year (??) and was interested in them but not knowing who made them. After setting the question on facebook (Meta) the answer came back: Empire Plastics Corp. ca1950s. Very cool indeed - they were much older than I had thought them to be. These things appeared to have had some odd marketing, having been included in a header bag with cars, buses, and planes - an odd mix to be sure. My purchase was for five figures in four poses but apparently there were six poses originally in the set. They are all in brightly colored soft plastic and would be classified as '30mm'.Enjoy!
