Ed's Travelogue: July 4th Independence Day Parade in Bonduel Wisconsin 1976

Back in the day I generally liked parades even small ones. 976 was the countries Bicentennial and was being celebrated across the nation in as many ways as was affordable. During the summers I would drive up north to our place on Shawano Lake and there were several really small towns we had to pass through - you know the kind, sneeze while you're driving and you'll miss the town. Bonduel was one of them. I have no clue what Milwaukee was doing but July 4th fell on a Sunday and I was up north. As small as the parade was I can say it was still a very enjoyable experience!

Enjoy! Opa Fritz
